United Arab Emirates still ban flights from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and 12 other countries due to Covid-19 pandemic situation. During a virulent second wave of Coronavirus in India 24, April 2021 the UAE suspended all flights from India.
UAE announced on June 19 the suspension of arrival restrictions for Indian, South African, and Nigerians beginning June 23. The federal aviation authority announced on Sunday that India and 13 other countries will continue to be prohibited entry into the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As reported by Reuters, cargo and business flights will be exempt from this ban.
A Civil Aviation Authority notice to airmen on Sunday stated that flights from Pakistan, India, Zambia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Vietnam, Liberia, Namibia, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and South Africa will remain suspended.
